Every week in grammar Merikate is asked to journal
what she has learned the week before. In can be
about anything, not just school related. Usually when
doing this exercise, we have to squeeze the 3-5 sentences
out of her. I was shocked when she handed
me her notepad today. This is the type of response
I think the book has in mind. Free form writing.
It is not graded, just an activity to practice
putting your thoughts on paper.
